The Foundation’s mission is to provide a focal point for recording, preserving and promoting the history, and achievements of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force from its formation in 1924 up to the present day. This includes:
Maintaining the Force Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas in Staffordshire.
Maintaining the Force Roll of Honour at the Royal Air Force Church of St Clement Danes in London.
Maintaining a pictorial pageant of the Force’s history and arranging for its display at suitable locations.
Promoting awareness of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force and its history through this web-site.
Arranging for an annual ceremony at the National Memorial Arboretum to dedicate Memorial Stones and reflect upon the Force’s past and recent history.
Seeking and maintaining an archive for noteworthy documents and memorabilia.
Establishing links with like-minded organisations.
