DONATIONS AND SUPPORT

The Foundation is wholly dependent upon cash donations and the support of volunteers to enable it to undertake its work.

Donations

Capital projects account for most of the Foundation’s expenditure. To date, we have been fortunate to have received generous awards from the RAF Charitable Trust, the RAF Central Fund and private individuals; RAuxAF Units have also made significant contributions, often through fund-raising events.

However, we still need to find over £1,000 to clear expenses incurred in providing and dedicating the Force’s Roll of Honour, and £10,000 is needed for the provision of a new Roll of Honour plinth alongside the RAuxAF Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum. Ongoing administrative expenses, including the maintenance of this web-site, are commendably low, and, unusually for a charity, account for only a small proportion of turnover. That everyone associated with the Foundation is an unpaid volunteer is a major factor in keeping these expenses down.

Should you wish to make a donation by post, please download the attached printable Donation Form.

Or, if you would prefer to do a BACS transfer, the Foundation’s bank details are: Lloyds, Carlisle Branch, Sort Code 30 91 66, A/C Number 00757773

All donations will, of course be gratefully acknowledged
